SFS Common IO will reach its “End-of-Life” on January 1, 2026. From this date onward, the product will officially no longer be supported, and the associated SLAs will become invalid.
The SFS General Purpose File System is leaving the beta phase and is now generally available.
At the end of the year (December 31, 2025), the SFS Common IO Service will reach the end of its life. Please migrate to General Purpose File System (GP FS).
With the new General Purpose File System you now have 3-AZ redundant & cost-efficient file storage at your disposal.
A new high-performance file storage type with up to 1,000,000 IOPS and 20 GB/s bandwidth is available in EU-DE.
SFS Turbo Shares can now also be backed up in EU-NL using the Cloud Backup & Recovery Service (CBR).
With the latest update of the Cloud Backup & Recovery Service it is possible to migrate backups of specific Server (ECS) / Disks (EVS) or File-Shares (SFS Turbo) to different Vaults.
A root squash API is now available for configuring access permissions to SFS Turbo file systems.
