Independent Price/Performance Analysis with AWS, Azure and T Cloud Public

In March 2024, the independent benchmark provider benchANT evaluated the PostgreSQL offerings from AWS, Azure and T Cloud Public. benchANT recorded the latencies and throughputs when using the database for analytics scenarios and as a home location register database. The scenarios were simulated using standardized benchmarks (TPC-H and TATP).

The benchmark report provides:

A detailed description of the benchmark conditions
The measurement results for throughput and latency in a comparison of the hyperscalers with T Cloud Public in the two scenarios
The price/performance ratios for throughput
The quantitative evaluation of the influence of private IP for T Cloud Public
