The Object Storage Service (OBS) now again supports “Cross-Region Replication” (OBS-CRR). With a single click you can replicate your data to another region.

- Geo‑redundancy – Data is stored across 6 availability zones (equivalent to 4 physical data centers, Twin‑Core principle).
- Increased security & resilience – also for critical infrastructure, suppliers, or when meeting BSI requirements.
- Regulatory compliance – Satisfy geo‑redundancy mandates without additional effort.
Replication is billed according to the amount of data transferred (see service description.)
