ECS general-purpose s9 available

We are excited to announce the expansion of our Elastic Cloud Server portfolio with the new general-purpose s9 flavor family. Powered by 6th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, the s9 flavors deliver substantial improvements in performance, efficiency, and scalability for general-purpose workloads.

The ECS s9 family is available in the ratios 1:1,1:2 and 1:4. This configuration is designed to meet a broad range of computation needs. These variants leverage ultra-fast DDR5 RAM to ensure outstanding in-memory performance. Instance sizes now scale from 1 up to 64 vCPUs, with memory capacities ranging from 1 up to 256 GB.

The new instances can be created and managed just like other ECS instances. They support resizing and migration from existing ECS families, making it easy to switch and take advantage of these new capabilities immediately. Backups can be done using Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR) and all instances can be protected with the Host Security Service (HSS). Try them now!
