We are pleased to announce the general availability of the "CloudWAF" mode of the Web Application Firewall in the EU-DE region.
The new CloudWAF is therefore generally available in both the EU-DE and EU-NL regions, and whitelisting is no longer required.
Both WAF modes can be created and managed in the console under the menu item "Web Application Firewall".
CloudWAF is positioned to effectively and efficiently cover the "standard use case" for protecting web applications. Dedicated WAF is suitable for addressing the need for exclusive resources and other specialized features.
